Quickbooks as a Spiritual Tool
What?! Yes! It’s true! I use Quickbooks Online (QBO) as a spiritual tool to make sure that my money is aligned with my beliefs and intentions.
You Get What You Measure
What tool are you using to measure and track your intentions? If you don’t have a tool, how do you know if your actions support your intentions? QBO can help clarify questions such as:
Are you spending money in alignment with your beliefs?
For example, do you believe in the principle of tithing, being debt-free in supporting causes and other businesses that are in alignment with what you stand for? Does your spending reflect that?
Are you earning money from sources that are aligned with who you are and what you believe? Remember, "not all money is good money." Does the source of your earnings reflect your beliefs and worth, or are you compromising and selling yourself short for certain projects, clients and ventures?
Attention Equals Capital
Your attention is your most valuable capital. Thoughts are things, and what you spend most of your time thinking (and talking) about will manifest in your life. The good news is that you have total control over how you invest this capital.
QBO is an awesome way to do this because, when used fully, it gives you clarity and peace of mind and it will change how you think. Having your "mind on your money and your money on your mind" is not the best use of your time and attention - your "capital." It is better to invest your attention in creative ways to share your gifts with the world, as opposed to wondering if a bill was paid, if you got paid, how much debt you have, how much interest you’re paying, etc. Use QBO to clean up this "low hanging fruit" and free up your "attention capital." It will change your life!
